RésuméL’article propose de montrer que les organismes de normalisation sont porteurs d’une dynamique institutionnelle qui contribue au développement durable. Il s’appuie d’une part, sur les approches économiques et d’autre part, sur une analyse du projet en cours de la norme ISO 26000 relative à la responsabilité sociétale des organisations. Ainsi, les normes et labels apparaissent comme des innovations institutionnelles qui renforcent la performance des entreprises dans un contexte de développement durable. This paper aims to show that the organizations of standardization participate to an institutional dynamics which contributes to sustainable development. It is based on economic approaches and on an analysis of the project of ISO 26000 ‑ guidance standard for social responsibility.
