Binding function of images and transformative speech in Photolangage® groups: an original approach to the treatment of migratory trauma

Par : Contributeur(s) : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2022. Sujet(s) : Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : In this paper the authors explore the potentialities of resorting to the group and the introduction of mediation by images in the care of young asylum seekers. Clinical care relating to contemporary migrations confronts us with a real challenge when addressing subjects who belong to different cultures, speak different languages and bear with them traumatic experiences that are both singular and plural. Through the example of a Photolangage® mediated group with unaccompanied former minors, it is seen how the group psychoanalytic model can prove to be an original approach to improve understanding and enhance clinical treatment.
