Les paragangliomes sont des tumeurs neuro-endocrines essentiellement surrénaliennes. Les localisations extra-surrénaliennes les plus fréquentes concernent la région cervicale et médiastinale. La prise en charge est une résection chirurgicale sans délai, encadrée souvent par un traitement médical. Les auteurs rapportent un cas de paragangliome à localisation axillaire, inhabituelle, qui constitue à notre connaissance le premier cas décrit dans la littérature.

Paragangliomas are essentially adrenal neuroendocrine tumours. The most common extra-adrenal localisations involve the cervical and mediastinal region. The management is surgical resection without delay, often accompanied by medical treatment. We present a review of the literature and report an atypical case of paraganglioma located to the axillary region which is, to our knowledge, the first documented case.
