Objectif. Rapporter un cas rare de carcinome adénoïde kystique du conduit auditif externe. Observation. Une patiente de 70 ans présentait une tumeur du conduit auditif externe dont l’examen histologique après biopsie a révélé un carcinome adénoïde kystique du conduit auditif externe. La tomodensitométrie n’a pas révélé d’extension locorégionale. Cette patiente a bénéficié d’un traitement chirurgical suivi d’une radiothérapie au vu du caractère agressif de la tumeur. L’évolution a été favorable. Conclusion. Le carcinome adénoïde kystique du conduit auditif externe est une tumeur rare mais avec un potentiel de récidive important, ce qui justifie un traitement agressif.

Objective. Case report of a rare adenoid cystic carcinoma of the external auditory canal. Observation. A 70-year-old patient presented with an external auditory canal tumour, the biopsy of which revealed an adenoid cystic carcinoma of the external auditory canal. The CT scan did not show any local or regional spreading. The patient underwent a surgical procedure followed by radiotherapy, given the aggressiveness of the tumour. The evolution was favourable. Conclusion. Adenoid cystic carcinoma of the external auditory canal is rare, but there is a high potential of recurrence, which justifies aggressive treatment.
