The couple, like any human link, is unconsciously given by the psychic equipment of the internal groups of each member. When an isomorphic equipment prevails, there will be little discrimination between the subjects and the trans-subjective transmission will be predominant, with absence of process of resumption and deficit of symbolization. On the other hand, in homomorphic equipment there will be an intrasubjective differentiation as well as a differentiation between the subjects, intersubjective transmission, process of resumption and symbolization with prevalence of the processes of thought. Empirical indicators resulting from the clinical material (two extracts of sessions) will make it possible to differentiate the two types of psychic equipment. The emergence and the prevalence of homomorphic moments, i.e. of intersubjective transmission, will indicate the introduction of a psychoanalytical couple process.
