Believing is a fiction which is necessary to the psyche since without any restructuring process, the world would be permanently closed to us. Among human beliefs, ideology finds an often claimed place and presents itself as an intrapsyche and intersubjective experience for an attempt at control. As ideology is a linking mode between psyche and society, it can then find a closed-up system, within the sectarian life, repressing existential problems that any belief underlies. A family therapy exemplifies the belief in a better life.
