RésuméAujourd’hui au début du XXIe siècle, il est urgent de mondialiser la bioéthique pour en faire une Bioéthique Globale qui associe la Bioéthique actuelle basée sur l’humanisme européen moderne et l’éthique environnementale basée sur la façon de penser plutôt communautaire (ou asiatique). Ceci ne veut pas toujours dire que la nouvelle bioéthique globale est nécessairement universaliste, car nous devons nous baser sur la reconnaissance de la variété très étendue des systèmes de valeurs dans le monde, nord et sud, est et ouest. Cependant, elle n’est pas non plus particulariste, car pour établir une éthique globale post-moderne, nous devons accepter and harmoniser toutes les valeurs antagonistes du monde.A cette fin nous devons cultiver une nouvelle technologie sociale pour le réglage du désordre social d’un niveau d’idéologie non seulement international mais aussi inter-ethnique et inter-culturel au-delà de l’humanisme européen moderne.Ici le concept de « droits de l’homme » ou le concept de « dignité humaine » peut perdre la signification qu’il avait dans la pensée bioéthique passée du monde occidental.

Now, in the beginning of the 21st century, bioethics must be urgently globalized into a Global Bioethics which combines the ongoing Bioethics based on the modern European humanism with the newly arising Environmental Ethics based on the rather communitarian (or Asian) ways of thinking. This does not always mean that the new global bioethics is necessarily universalistic, for we should stand on the recognition of the wide spread variety of value systems in the world, north and south, east and west. However, it is not particularistic either, for in order to establish a post-modern global ethics, we have to accept and harmonize every kind of antagonistic values on the Globe.For this purpose we have to cultivate a new social technology of tuning social disorder of not only international but also inter-ethnic and inter-cultural level of ideology beyond the modern European humanism. Here the concept of “human rights” or the concept of “human dignity” may lose its significance as it has held in the past bioethical thinking in the western world.
