Le suivi psychothérapique d’un jeune homme Asperger par un psychanalyste témoigne ici autant des singularités très spécifiques de fonctionnement des personnes avec Asperger que des remaniements considérables acquis au décours du processus psychothérapique. Une vision complexe du développement du « fonctionnement des fonctions », et de la psychopathologie s’en déduit. L’auteur lance une défense militante de l’intérêt spécifique de l’intelligence psychanalytique clinique et théorique de l’autisme, autant qu’un plaidoyer insistant pour « recommander » l’indication d’un soutien psychothérapique et/ou psychanalytique dans l’accompagnement des personnes Asperger, qui sont toujours en grande souffrance psychique, narcissique et relationnelle, mais plus encore, et c’est l’objet princeps de cet article, souffrent de déficits des fonctions cognitives habituellement si entravées.

The psychotherapeutic follow-up of a young man with Asperger syndrome by a psychoanalyst displays both the very specific peculiarities of functioning of people with Asperger, which are so frequent, and the considerable reorganizations acquired at the end of the psychotherapeutic process. One infers from that a complex view on the development of the “functioning of the functions” as well as on the psychopathology of that syndrome. The author launches a militant defense of the specific interest of the clinical and theoretical psychoanalytical understanding of autism, as much as an insisting plea for “recommending” the indication of a psychotherapeutic and/or psychoanalytical support in the treatment of people with Asperger syndrome, who always suffer from great psychic, narcissistic and relational pain, but even worse, and it is the original object of this article, from deficits of cognitive functions usually so hindered.
