Nous abordons la narrativité et l’identité narrative à partir de notre expérience de psychologue clinicienne auprès d’enfants âgés de 6 à 12 ans accueillis en ITEP et présentant une symptomatologie ayant trait à la violence. Nous nous interrogeons sur leurs capacités de mise en récit : comment se racontent‑ils et comment racontent‑ils le monde ? Au cours des séances de psychothérapie pluri-hebdomadaires, nous retrouvons des caractéristiques qui vont dans le sens d’une narrativité troublée, tant au niveau de la forme que du contenu. Dans la dynamique transférentielle se font jour des difficultés dans le registre des liens précoces, de la temporalité et des identifications. Pour illustrer notre propos, nous présenterons deux cas de garçons suivis en psychothérapie analytique pendant trois ans. À partir de nos observations et l’analyse qui s’ensuit, nous dégageons des perspectives psychothérapeutiques pour améliorer la prise en soin de ces enfants.

We discuss narrativity and narrative identity from our experience as a clinical psychologist with children aged 6 to 12, who are received in ITEP and have symptomatology related to violence. We wonder about their narrative skills : how do they tell each other and how do they tell the world ? During multi-weekly psychotherapy sessions, we find characteristics that go in the direction of a troubled narrative, both in terms of form and content. In the transference dynamics some difficulties arise in the register of early links, temporality and identifications. To illustrate our point, we will present two cases of boys followed in analytic psychotherapy for three years. From our observations and the analysis that follows, we release psychotherapeutic perspectives to improve the care of these children.
