Comment rendre compte et prendre la mesure des bouleversements sociaux, sociétaux et environnementaux que nous avons vécus au plus intime de nous-même, du corps et de la psyché, à des échelles inédites et difficilement représentables, à l’issue de cette longue période de pandémie ? De quelle hébétude nous éveillons-nous, deux ans plus tard ? Il s’agit ici et maintenant de trouver la bonne distance ou l’angle d’attaque suffisamment préparé, du côté de la métaphore, afin de rendre compte d’une réalité empirique dont nous commençons seulement à apprécier et observer les effets : tant sur le sujet que dans les modalités de (re)constitution et transformation du lien social. Parce qu’il est inscrit dans la parole et doté du logos lui permettant d’habiter le monde, l’autre reste l’horizon du sujet. En ce sens, nous ne sommes pas seuls, je ne suis pas seul(e), tel un être sur lui-même replié. Je suis un parmi les autres, et cette pluralité m’invite à innover, à inventer. Car il s’agit maintenant de consentir à la liberté pour tous et de bâtir, faire société au moment du réveil, être les garants d’une parole qui engage ce que l’on nomme l’humanité. How can we account for and measure the social, societal and environmental upheavals that we have experienced in the innermost parts of ourselves, the body, and the psyche, on unprecedented and difficult to represent scales, at the end of this long pandemic period? How dazed are we two years later? Here and now, the challenge is to find the right distance or angle of attack sufficiently prepared, on the metaphor side, to account for an empirical reality whose effects we are only beginning to appreciate and observe: both on the subject and in the modalities of (re)constitution and transformation of the social bond. Because it is inscribed in the word and endowed with the logos enabling it to inhabit the world, the other remains the horizon of the subject. In this sense, we are not alone, I am not alone, like a being folded on itself. I am one among the others, and this plurality invites me to innovate, to invent. For it is now a matter of consenting to freedom for all and building, making society at the time of awakening, being the guarantors of a word that engages what is called humanity.
