Psychological disorganization in children

The DSM-5 introduces the notion of Autism Spectrum Disorder, making autism a key point of reference in North American nosography. But early disorganization can be considered the pathological nucleus and the source of subsequent developmental alterations. We propose a dynamic reading, based on a series of clinical vignettes. Psychological disorganization is a fundamental element of some developmental disorders, and autistic behaviors may have a defensive value.
