The Foster Care Program (daf) is a program run by the Haute-Garonne Departmental Child Center (cdef) with a view to diversifying and adapting its foster services to the needs of minors resident in the region. The daf consists of foster parents who provide fostering, assessment, and care for children, and a multidisciplinary team who supports them. To tackle the challenges involved when minors and families meet in the context of emergency placements, the cdef 31 has invested organization capacity and dedicated resources into ensuring the success of this program, which has been in place since 2017.
