In the current sociopolitical context, early childhood seems to be at the heart of the public debate, at the center of public action to reduce social inequalities and promote equal opportunities. The same is true for the issue of domestic violence since the Grenelle (French national forum), launched in 2019, against violence against women. However, the authors strongly emphasize the need to take into account pregnancy and the perinatal period in such a context, especially since preventive measures could be implemented in a simple way at a very low cost.
