The importance of parental involvement in care services is well established. Entering the service is a central moment according to attachment theory. The challenge is to create a therapeutic alliance necessary for the co-construction of the child’s care project, making them actors in the care process. We will see how integrating the parent into our sessions can support the child’s exploratory abilities and the place we can have in supporting parenthood as psychomotricians.
