NGOs and extra-financial (in)communication in the European Green Deal

The European Green Deal includes two types of measures that show the power that NGOs have accrued in Europe and on the international scene. The first of these concerns the requirement that companies must publish new information intended for NGOs. This obligation is part of an international development that is, in some ways, more ambitious than the Green Deal itself. The second measure extends the access of NGOs to the judicial system in the EU, which confirms this international movement.
