Culture et émotion : la « colère » en français et en chinois

From Darwin’s two fundamental postulates, namely the universality of the expression of emotions and its adaptability, researchers have developed different theoretical currents. But, are emotions really universally expressed in the same way? To answer this question, we carried out a semantic analysis in Mandarin and French in order to build the semantic networks of anger which help to better understand and compare the specifics of the expression and understanding of emotions in Chinese and in French. This article aims to show the specificities through the semantic networks and other expressions.Keywords: emotion, semantic network, culture, anger, French, Chinese.
