Type de matériel :

This article, in the functionalist approach of André Martinet, aims to describe new sentence structures which have emerged in dynamic synchrony in Mandarin Chinese. In Mandarin, order of linguistic units is relevant which helps to identify syntactic functions. However, with communicative needs, new moneme or syntheme orders start to appear and challenge the prototypical sentence structure SVO, some of them are not enough studied. The article will offer a brief description of these structures with bivalent verbal predicates by presenting their syntactic and semantic restrictions, in some cases an interaction with pragmatic factors to realise the dynamics of syntactic and informative sentence structures in Mandarin.
