En s’appuyant sur différent types de sources – ouvrage d’histoire de l’éducation, discours tenus au corps enseignant, directives ministérielles, manuels scolaires d’histoire du secondaire – cet article étudie la réception des Lumières dans le « projet scolaire » national-socialiste : l’opposition idéologique irréductible entre Lumières et national-socialisme, la transmission de cette vision du monde aux élèves et le traitement problématique de certaines figures de l’ Aufklärung.

Drawing from different types of sources –a history of education book, speeches made to the teaching body, ministerial instructions, secondary school history textbooks–this article about the reception of the Enlightenment in the National Socialist “educational project”, looks into the irreducible ideological opposition between the Enlightenment and National Socialism, the transmission of this Weltanschauung to the students and the representation of the figures associated with the German Aufklärung.
