E.C. Trapp (1745-1818) develops the idea of a moral training of the citizen without religious training. Beyond the opposition between the morality of intentions and the morality of actions (Thomas Abbt), it consists in the formation of a subjectivity that creates interpretive structures for immediate and past history and is based on a pedagogy that, through the notions of projection and homogeneity, does not reduce the adaptation to the child to a simple didactic technique.
