Les initiatives de la Seconde annonce ne trouvent pas nécessairement dans la paroisse leur milieu naturel. En effet, elles provoquent une crise et déclenchent un conflit, mettant la paroisse dans une condition de changement salutaire mais pénible. Organisée autour des fonctions pastorales traditionnelles et habituée à programmer les initiatives missionnaires, la paroisse a de la peine à accepter la prophétie de la Seconde annonce, qui met en son centre, non le principe ecclésiologique mais un principe anthropologique : la vie des hommes et des femmes de notre temps où l’Esprit du ressuscité nous précède. La Seconde annonce désarticule le vécu ordinaire d’une paroisse parce qu’il fait éclater la frontière « dedans-dehors », déplace l’Église du centre de l’attention, provoque un changement du style communautaire, redéfinit les dynamiques du rite et subvertit les hiérarchies de pouvoir dans la paroisse.

The initiatives of the Second Proclamation do not necessarily find their natural home in the parish. In fact, they can lead to crisis and conflict, placing the parish in a process of change that is healthy but painful. Organized around the traditional pastoral functions and used to programming missionary initiatives, the parish has difficulty accepting the prophecy of the Second Proclamation, which centres not on the ecclesial dimension but on an anthropological principle : the life of men and women in our era, in which the Spirit of the risen one precedes us.The Second Proclamation disrupts the ordinary experience of a parish because it breaks down the boundary between “inside-outside” and displaces the Church from the centre of attention, provoking a change in community style, redefining the dynamics of the liturgy and subverting the hierarchies of power in the parish.
