RésuméFondé sur les rapports des Renseignements généraux à l’intérieur du camp du Larzac, cet article interroge l’idée d’une « cogestion » du camp par le FLN. Ce dernier déploya certes ses propres structures d’encadrement des internés et plaçait ses délégués à l’exercice de diverses tâches. Mais, il s’agissait aussi — surtout ? — de prendre le pouvoir sur les internés, enrôlés dans des mouvements revendicatifs coordonnés avec l’extérieur et soumis à une stricte discipline interne.

Based on the reports of the Renseignements Généraux (the security branch of the French police force), this paper questions the notion of the co-management of the camp by the FLN, which put in place its own prisoner supervisional structures and enrolled its delegates in different tasks. However, the goal was not co-management only but also (and foremost?) to exert power over the prisoners who were enlisted in protest movements coordinated with the outside world, and submitted to a strict internal discipline.
