Cet article étudie les réseaux transnationaux de la Ligue contre l’impérialisme et pour l’indépendance nationale (1927-1937) et son héritage historique. Le communiste allemand Willi Münzenberg (1889-1940) et l’Internationale communiste sont les pivots de l’histoire de cette organisation de « compagnons de route », acteur transnational de l’anti-impérialisme de l’entre-deux-guerres. L’article s’intéresse notamment au rôle joué par la Ligue dans le façonnement des mouvements de résistance transnationaux contre le colonialisme et l’impérialisme.

The article charts the transnational connections of the sympathizing organization the League Against Imperialism and for National Independence (LAI, 1927-1937), and its historical legacy. The German communist Willi Münzenberg (1889-1940) and the Communist International are pivotal for the LAI’s history as a transnational actor of interwar anti-imperialism. The article charts LAI’s role in shaping transnational movements of resistance against colonialism and imperialism in the interwar years.
