La rencontre entre le syndicalisme enseignant et le travail réel est au cœur de l’activité du chantier « Travail » de l’Institut de recherche de la FSU depuis 2006. Le développement de nouvelles coopérations entre syndicalistes, chercheurs et consultants visait à dissiper le malentendu persistant entre le monde syndical et le travail réel. Le même objectif a été poursuivi à travers des modes d’expérimentation de construction de savoirs autour du travail des professionnels et du travail des syndicalistes. Les pratiques syndicales et la posture des syndicalistes vis-à-vis du travail conduisent trop souvent à une désarticulation entre deux formes de résistance : la première organisée par les syndicats et la seconde, souterraine, invisible, dépourvue de porte-parole, que les travailleurs utilisent dans leur travail au quotidien.Toutes les organisations syndicales sont aux prises avec les mêmes dilemmes : comment réorienter le travail des syndicats ? Comment transformer profondément la pratique syndicale ? Une telle réorientation requiert nécessairement une activité réflexive au sein des groupes syndicaux ainsi qu’au sommet de leurs organisations. Cela devrait conduire à une nouvelle conception de nouveaux principes et règles élaborés par les syndicats, liés aux valeurs produites grâce aux débats.

The encounter between the teachers unionism and the real work is at the core of the activity of the «Work workshop» of the Research Institute of the FSU, the french Unitary Unions Federation, since 2006. The development of new cooperations between unionists, researchers, consultants, aimed at dissipating the remaining misunderstanding between the unions world and the real work. The same happened through testing specific ways of constructing knowledge about the work of professionals and the work of unionists. The unionists practices and their posture vis-a-vis the work too often lead to a disconnection between two forms of resistance : the first one organized by the unions and the second, underground, invisible, without any spokesman, that the workers use in their daily work.All unions organizations are at stake with the same dilemmas : how too re-orientate the work of unions ? how to transform deeply the union practice ?Such a re-orientation undoubtedly requires a reflective activity within the unions groups and the top of their organizations. It should lead to a new conception, new principles and norms by the unions, linked to specific values produced through debates.
