Considérer l’événement conciliaire comme événement liturgique permet de comprendre de la façon la plus unifiée possible le contenu, la méthode et la forme des enseignements de Vatican  ii. Il s’agit de retrouver en termes liturgiques l’Église en acte d’écrire la tradition afin d’appréhender la lecture du concile comme acte de l’Église entrant dans l’énonciation liturgique de sa propre foi. On essaiera alors de considérer cet acte liturgique d’écriture de la tradition comme modèle de tout acte théologique.

It is a matter of discovering, in liturgical terms, the Church in the act of writing the tradition in order to apprehend the interpretation of the Council as an act of the Church entering into the liturgical enunciation of her own faith. Then the attempt is made to consider this liturgical act of the writing of the tradition as a model of every theological act.
