La démarche synodale dans laquelle le pape François fait entrer l’Église est une opportunité pour initier une nouvelle réflexion sur la manière de discerner la place et la mission des instituts de vie consacrée au sein des Églises particulières. L’article présente certains principes structurant tout institut. Il met alors en lumière les défis essentiels qui se présentent pour dynamiser les relations entre les Églises particulières et les instituts afin que tous les dons et charismes donnés par le Seigneur à son Église puissent se déployer au service de la mission.

The synodal process into which Pope Francis brings the Church is an opportunity to initiate a new reflection on how to discern the place and mission of institutes of consecrated life within the particular Churches. The article presents some principles that structure any institute. It then highlights the essential challenges that arise in order to dynamize the relationship between particular Churches and institutes so that all the gifts and charisms given by the Lord to his Church may be deployed in the service of mission.
