RésuméParce que la justice a besoin d’un responsable, les juridictions médiévales ont dû faire face à la question du statut de la parole sur la scène de théâtre en situation contentieuse, à une époque où le texte ne porte pas de signature. Les procédures judiciaires contre le théâtre et ses acteurs nous offrent un matériel remarquable pour amorcer une enquête sur la question de la responsabilité pénale de l’auteur et enrichir la réflexion sur la fonction-auteur à la fin du Moyen Âge.
