Nous assistons depuis quelques décennies, à l’explosion des outils de gestion sous les formes les plus variées. Ces outils sont désormais au cœur du fonctionnement des organisations hospitalières et sont devenus indissociables de notre activité quotidienne. L’implémentation d’un outil de gestion conduit à une phase de changement, nécessite d’engager un processus d’appropriation et aboutit à la reconfiguration de l’organisation du travail, des compétences, et du sens au travail. Cette étude s’intéresse au processus d’appropriation d’un outil de gestion comme un facteur de construction de sens, et à la contribution managériale inhérente à cette réussite.

In recent decades, we have witnessed the explosion of management tools in a most varied forms. These tools are now at the heart of the functioning of hospital organisations and have become inseparable from our daily activity. The implementation of a management tool leads to a phase of change requires a process of appropriation and leads to the reconfiguration of the organisation of work skills and meaning at work. This study focuses on the process of appropriation of a management tool as a factor of sensemaking and on the managerial contribution inherent in this success.
