The author draws on psychoanalysis to relate a challenging clinical experience involving a psychotic child who had been in the “infans” stage for a long time. He develops the temporality of the context for this encounter with psychosis, where the infra-verbal remains a central theme of psycho-affective life. While questioning the impact of his means of intervention and interpretation for a psychoanalytic construction, he raises the question of the beginning and end of this treatment, which was subject to the difficulties of the transference relationship. An access to an analytic process leads to the transformation of the patient into a thinking and speaking subject, by means of identifications that were made possible through video games.
