RésuméA partir de l’observation clinique d’un patient état-limite, cet article aborde le problème de l’indication thérapeutique des patients au narcissisme défaillant. La psychothérapie psychanalytique corporelle s’avère une alternative aux prises en charge plus classiques, psychanalyse, psychothérapie en face à face, difficiles à conduire avec de tels patients. Le dispositif qui implique la place du corps comme objet transitionnel primaire permet de recentrer davantage le travail autour de ce qui a été l’enjeu de la relation avec l’objet primaire et l’origine de la pathologie. Par les possibilités d’accompagner au mieux régrédience et progrédience, il facilite la mise en place de l’écart nécessaire à la relance d’un processus.

Based on the clinical observation of a borderline patient, this paper deals with the problem of what indication for therapy is the most suited for patients with low self-esteem. Bodily psychoanalytic psychotherapy appears to be an alternative to more classical forms of treatments such as psychoanalysis or face-to-face psychotherapy that are difficult to manage with these patients. The implication of the body as a primary transitional object as applied with this apparatus allows working through to be more centered around the struggle that took place with the primary object and that is the original source of pathology. Given the possibilities of accompanying the ebbs and flows through bodily implication this technique enables us to find the right distance for the renewal of an evolutionary process.
