En suivant les thèses du sinologue François Jullien, nous confrontons deux visions du monde sur les interventions de crise. Celle de la Grèce antique qui glorifie le sujet, l’action et la volonté pour affronter le monde suivant un plan qu’elle a pensé et projeté sur la situation : elle bâtit le monde. Et celle de la Chine qui s’efface au point de se fondre dans le cours des choses pour mieux faire advenir leurs effets en anticipant sur le pas encore visible : elle transforme le monde.

Following the sinologist François Jullien’s theses, today’s world is faced with two outlooks on crisis intervention. That of Ancient Greece which glorifies the subject, willfull action to brave the world according to a plan that has been thought up and projected on to the situation. It constructs the world. And that of China which fades out to the point of dissolving into the course of things so that its effects become more able to anticipate what is yet unseen. It transforms the world.
