Cette recherche a pour objectifs d’identifier les déterminants de la qualité de la relation patient- soignant et de vérifier l’impact de cette relation sur la satisfaction du patient. Pour cela, une approche mixte est privilégiée. Ainsi, 60 entretiens semi-directifs et 300 questionnaires ont été administrés auprès des patients et soignants. Les résultats montrent que les caractéristiques du patient influencent significativement la qualité de sa relation avec les soignants. Ils soulignent également l’influence de l’engagement du soignant et son comportement. On note, par ailleurs, que l’autorité du soignant et son manque de respect entravent la qualité de sa relation avec les patients.

The objective of this research is to identify the determinants of the quality of the patient-caregiver relationship and to verify the impact of this relationship on patient satisfaction. For this, a mixt approach is preferred. For this, 60 interviews and 300 questionnaires were administered to patients and caregivers. The results show that the characteristics of the patient significantly influence the quality of his relationship with caregivers. They also underline the influence of the caregiver’s commitment and behavior. It is also noted that the caregiver’s authority and lack of respect hinder the quality of its relationship with patients.
