La Cour des comptes, qui fonctionne sans interruption depuis près de deux siècles, est l’institution la plus ancienne de l’histoire de l’État grec. Ses perspectives d’évolution constituent un défi, compte tenu du nouveau cadre budgétaire européen et des pathologies pérennes de l’administration publique du pays. La présente étude met en lumière les réformes introduites par une législation récente, réformes qui modernisent la Cour des comptes en la dotant, non seulement d’une organisation optimisée, mais aussi d’un fonctionnement nouveau et d’un mandat de contrôle élargi.

The Court of Audit is the longest-standing institution in the history of the Greek state, operating continuously for two centuries, and its evolution prospects pose a challenge in light of the new European framework and the enduring challenges of Greek Public Administration. Thus, the present study highlights the modern reforms brought about by recent legislation, which modernize the Court of Audit in terms of its organization, operation, and auditing mission.
