L’auteur situe tout d’abord le cadre général dans lequel il est possible d’avoir un authentique contact avec des criminels. Ce qui caractérise ceux-ci, c’est l’absence d’accès à la tiercéité pour une partie de leur fonctionnement psychique, de sorte que l’ autre, en certaines circonstances, disparaît au profit de la recherche d’une toute-puissance les protégeant d’une menace d’anéantissement. Le travail du thérapeute est alors de redonner vie à la tiercéité, en des lieux où elle a été exclue à la suite de traumatismes précoces. L’auteur reprend trois exemples cliniques capables de préciser la reconstruction possible.

The author begins his paper by presenting the general framework within which it was possible to have authentic contact with criminals. These criminals are characterised by the absence of any access to third party functioning for a part of their psychic functioning, with the result that the other, in certain circumstances, disappears in favour of the search for a supreme-power that will protect them from the threat of annihilation. The therapist’s work thus entails recreating third party functioning, in places where it has been excluded in the wake of early traumas. The author has given three clinical examples that can precisely illustrate the nature of possible reconstruction.

Ante todo sitúo el marco general en el cual es posible tener un contacto verdadero con criminales. Lo que les caracteriza, es la ausencia de acceso a la terciedad de una parte de su funcionamiento psíquico, por tanto la otra, en determinadas circunstancias, desaparece en beneficio de la búsqueda de una onmipotencia que les protega de la amenaza de aniquilamiento. El trabajo del terapeuta es entonces el volver a dar vida a la terciedad, en dos lugares de la cual ha sido excluida luego de traumatismos precoces. Retomo tres ejemplos capaces de precisar la reconstrucción posible.

Zuerst habe ich den allgemeinen Rahmen aufgezeigt, in welchem es möglich war, einen authentischen Kontakt mit Kriminellen zu haben. Was diese charakterisiert, ist die Unmöglichkeit, die “ tiercéité ” (Dreieckbeziehung) für einen Teil ihres psychischen Geschehens zu erreichen ; somit verschwindet der Andere, in gewissen Umständen, zugunsten der Suche nach einer Allmacht, welche vor einer Gefahr der totalen Vernichtung schützt. Die Arbeit des Therapeuten ist dann, die tiercéité wieder ins Leben zu rufen, an Orten, wo sie ausgeschlossen wurde, in der Folge von frühen Traumata. Ich habe drei klinische Beispiele aufgenommen, welche fähig sind, die mögliche Wiederaufbauung zu präzisieren.

Dapprima viene posto il quadro generale in cui è stato possibile d’aver un autentico contatto con dei crimili. Cio’ che li caratterizza è la mancanza dell’accesso alla terzeità di una parte del loro funzionamento psichico, in maniera tale che l’ altro, in certe circostanze, sparisce a beneficio della ricerca di una onnipotenza che li protegge da una minaccia d’annientamento. Il lavoro del terapeuta è allora di ridar vita alla terzeità in due luoghi in cui, in seguito al traoma, è stata esclusa. Ho ripreso tre esempi clinici che possono precisare la possibile ricostruzione.
