Un système de soins fragmenté qui dissout la relation transférentielle, s’est substitué à la traditionnelle relation duelle de la médecine classique. Los prestaciones técnicas de la medicina actual, la obligación de transparencia en la información al paciente, las situaciones clínicas extremas a las que están confrontados médicos y enfermos, modifican sustancialmente los lazos entre personal sanitario/pacientes, y los procesos psíquicos que se desarrollan en la relación. Un sistema de cuidados fragmentado, que deshace la relación transferencial, ha ido sustituyendo a la tradicional relación dual de la medicina clásica. Las autoras avanzan la hipótesis que el sistema produce más efectos destructores que estructurantes, y expone a médicos y pacientes a cortos circuitos totalmente perjudiciales.

Die aktuellen technischen Möglichkeiten der Medizin, die Verpflichtung zur Transparenz von Informationen dem Patienten gegenüber, die klinischen Extremsituationen, denen Ärzte und Patienten ausgesetzt sind, verändern zutiefst die Beziehungen von Behandler und Behandeltem sowie die psychischen Prozesse, die in dieser Beziehung ablaufen. Ein fragmentiertes Behandlungssystem, das die Übertragungsbeziehung auflöst, hat die Stelle der traditionellen Zweipersonenbeziehung der klassischen Medizin eingenommen. Die Autoren vertreten die These, dass dieses System mehr zerstörerische als strukturierende Auswirkungen hat und Ärzte wie Patienten zu ausgesprochen schädlichen psychischen Kurzschlüssen verurteilt.

Le autrici fanno l’ipotesi che questo sistema generi più effetti distruttori che strutturanti, e condanni medici e pazienti a dei corto-circuiti psichici estremamente pregiudizievoli.
