RésuméÀ partir d’une clinique hospitalière, l’auteur s’attache à montrer le caractère polymorphe de la pratique des scarifications. Non réductible à une pure décharge, celle-ci se situe au carrefour des différents modèles qui ont cherché à préciser l’articulation psyché-soma en jeu dans l’investissement morbide du corps propre. Si la force et le sens sont engagés, c’est à une tentative de maintien du système défensif préexistant qu’elle semble répondre.

Based on clinical work in a hospital, the author tries to show the polymorphous character of the practice of scarification. It cannot be reduced to a pure discharge, and is situated at the crossroads of different models which have attempted to pinpoint the articulation of the psyche-soma at stake in the morbid cathexis of the body-proper. If force and meaning are engaged, it is the effort to maintain the pre-existing defensive system which seems to constitute the response.

ResumenÀ partir de una clínica de hospital, el autor se amarra a mostrar el aspecto polimorfo de la practica de las escarificaciones. Non reductible a una pura descarga, esa misma se sitúa al cruce de los distintos modelos que han buscado a precisar la articulación entre psique y soma en juego en la inversión mórbido del cuerpo propio. Si la fuerza y el sentido están comprometidos, es por una tentativa de mantenimiento del sistema defensivo pre-existente que parece contestar.

ZusammenfassungAusgehend von einer klinischen Studie versucht die Autorin, die polymorphe Natur der Praxis der Skarifizierung aufzuzeigen. Sie lässt sich nicht auf eine reine Abfuhr reduzieren und liegt an der Kreuzung der verschiedenen Modelle, die versuchen, die Artikulation zwischen Psyche und Soma, die bei der morbiden Besetzung des eigenen Körpers auf dem Spiel steht, zu präzisieren. Anteil an der Investition zu klären haben, krankhaften Körper-Wertschätzung. Wenn auch Kraft und Sinn beteiligt sind, so scheint sie doch vor allem eine Antwort auf den Versuch der Erhaltung des prä-existierenden Verteidigungssystems darzustellen.
