Dans cet article l’auteur présente, sous la forme d’un inventaire, les principaux concepts et notions avec lesquels il tente de cerner l’énigme psychosomatique. Ils sont tour à tour rapportés à leur origine, c’est-à-dire à la discussion menée au cours des ans avec des auteurs privilégiés : Freud, Marty, Fain, de M’Uzan, Laplanche, Ferenczi. Dans ce parcours une place particulière est accordée à la métapsychologie du corps, au sexuel, au clivage du moi, au travail vivant et à la sublimation. En fin de parcours, sont esquissées les incidences des références théoriques sur la pratique de la cure avec les patients souffrant de maladies somatiques.

In this article, the author presents an inventory of important concepts and notions with which he attempts to define the psychosomatic enigma. They are each related to their origin—that is, to discussions of them over the years between privileged authors: Freud, Marty, Fain, de M’Uzan, Laplanche, Ferenczi. In reviewing them, particular prominence is given to the metapsychology of the body, to the sexual, to the splitting of the ego, to living labor, and to sublimation. Subsequently, the author outlines the repercussions of these theoretical references upon the practice of the cure with patients suffering from somatic disorders.
