La pathologie narcissique sous – jacente aux troubles psychosomatiques entraîne des effets sur l’aperception, sur la parole et sur la construction de la limite dedans/dehors. Ces phénomènes se ramèneraient à l’interruption trop précoce de l’union à « l’objet » qui agit comme un trauma déclenchant l’évitement (décrit par Freud en 1900) des relations objectales et des représentations figuratives de la pulsion. Les manifestations insignifiantes de la psyché comme la concrétude, les agirs et mises en acte, le schématisme, les somatisations et le « déni par la réalité » sont considérées alors comme des traces historiques bloquées « au-delà » de la figurabilité, qu’il faudra psychiser dans et par le processus transférentiel.

The narcissistic pathology that underlies psychosomatic disorders has concomitant effects upon apperception, speech, and the construction of the limit between the internal and the external. These phenomena basically come down to a premature interruption of fusion with the “object,” which acts as a trauma triggering an avoidance (as described by Freud in 1900) of objectal relations and figurative representations of the drive. The nonsignifying manifestations of the psyche such as concreteness, acts and activation, schematism, somatizations, and “denial by reality” are then considered as blocked historical traces which are “beyond” figurability, and must be psychically integrated in and through the transferential process.
