RésuméCet article propose l’analyse d’un dispositif d’insertion sur le marché du travail des comédiens en Communauté française de Belgique : le dispositif du « stage audition-formation » organisé par le Centre des Arts Scéniques. En s’appuyant sur le cadre théorique de l’économie des conventions et sur les constats empiriques de quelques études réalisées en France sur le marché du travail des comédiens, les auteurs rendent compte du caractère innovant de ce dispositif qui permet de faire varier les conventions d’évaluation des compétences ; ils identifient en outre deux des principales limites ou contraintes qui menacent les conditions d’équilibre du jugement.

Evaluating competences in performing arts. An analysis of a public instrument for the employability of theatre performers.This article analyses a public instrument designed for the professional integration of young theatre performers in Belgium’s French Community: the “casting-training internship” ( stage audition-formation). Drawing on the theoretical framework of the economy of conventions and on some empirical data from inquiries conducted in France, the authors study the innovative dimension of this instrument which allows for a variety of competences evaluation conventions. They also identify two major constraints affecting the conditions of a balanced skills assessment.
