Je veux simplement rendre hommage ici à un très grand psychanalyste, président de l’API et de l’APF, professeur de psychiatrie, chercheur, mais surtout une personne d’une qualité très rare. Sa bienveillance, son humanité, son équanimité ne se sont jamais démenties même au moment de conflits très difficiles.

I simply want to pay tribute here to a very great psychoanalyst, a former president of the International Psychoanalytic Association (IPA) and the French psychoanalytic association (APF), a professor of psychiatry and researcher, but above all a person of a very rare quality. His benevolence, humanity and equanimity were never in doubt, even at the time of very difficult conflicts.

Simplemente quiero rendir homenaje a un grandísimo psicoanalista, presidente de la API y de la APF, profesor de psiquiatría, investigador, pero sobre todo persona de una valía inconmensurable. Su bondad, su humanidad, su ecuanimidad han estado siempre presentes inclusive en momentos de conflictos mayores.
