La Turquie d’Erdoğan dans un environnement régional recomposé
Type de matériel :
5
In 2018, Turkey’s relations with the European Union, Israel and the main Eastern Arab (Mashriq) countries have deteriorated as never before. Since 2011, developments in the Syrian conflict have led Ankara to abandon the objective of overthrowing President Bashar al-Assad and reposition the Kurdish question at the heart of its mission – resulting in support for Russian strategies, which has caused tensions with NATO. These (coerced) changes of direction emerge out of a martial realpolitik that both feeds Anatolian nationalism and affords the Turkish president electoral advantages.
