RésuméLes nombreux renvois faits par Jean de Murs à Alphonse de Castille dans l’ Expositio font apparaître que le corpus auquel il se réfère avait bien une existence matérielle. Celui-ci peut être distingué des astronomies alphonsines castillanes et latines, et n’exposait probablement pas, au moins sur certains points, une seule théorie astronomique cohérente mais plutôt une pluralité d’opinions.

The numerous references made by John of Murs to Alphonse of Castile in the Expositio show that the corpus to which he points had a material existence. It can be distinguished from the latin and castellan alphonsine astronomies and probably, at least on some points, it didn’t expose a single coherent astronomical theory but rather a plurality of opinions.
