Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : Italian Marxism is today in great difficulty. "Praxis Philosophy", its theoretical form, has lost much of the leading role it had held between 1945 and 1976. Theoretical hegemony is now shared by two currents : a) Hermeneutics (derived from Nietzche and Heidegger), which is founded on the critical deconstruction of subjectivity equated to "Wille zür Macht" ; b) the Neo-contractualist theory which presupposes a conception of ethical subjectivity. Such a contradictory situation may provide an opportunity to find a new critical approach, if Praxis philosophy re-evalutes its bases.
