La migration animale est l’une des illustrations les plus visibles de la présence du mouvement dans la nature. Ce phénomène est appréhendé par le droit, qui définit les espèces migratrices et les protège. Toutefois, une vision statique ne peut suffire : il faut un droit de la migration animale capable de répondre aux besoins spécifiques de ces espèces et notamment à la nécessaire réalisation du cycle migratoire.

Animal migration is one of the most obvious examples of the existence of movement within nature. This phenomenon is tackled by law, which gives a definition of migratory species and protects them. However, a static vision cannot be sufficient: a law of animal migration is needed, being able to respond to the specific needs of these species, and in particular to the necessary full realization of the migration cycle.
