La réception de la Déclaration conciliaire Nostra Aetate § 4 s’est faite par deux canaux : des textes qui l’interprètent et des événements qui incarnent le changement de regard de l’Église sur les juifs. L’article fournit un résumé des principales publications du Magistère suite à Nostra Aetate § 4 et montre en quoi des événements ont permis la diffusion de l’esprit de Nostra Aetate parmi les fidèles. Il s’interroge sur l’avenir de la fécondité de la Déclaration, alors qu’on n’est qu’au seuil de cette ère de réconciliation.

Of texts and eventsReception of the conciliary Declaration Nostra Aetate § 4 took two paths : the texts that interpret it and the events that embody the change in the viewpoint of the Church about Jews. This article provides a summary of the main publications of the Magisterium following upon Nostra Aetate § 4 and shows how events enabled its spirit to be spread among the faithful. It takes up the question of the future fruitfulness of the Declaration, whereas we are still upon the threshold of this era of reconciliation.
