L’Église protestante unie de France et l’Église catholique sont confrontées à la demande d’accompagnement pastoral des unions de personnes de même sexe. Entre questions pastorales similaires et réponses institutionnelles différentes, l’institution matrimoniale et la pratique des bénédictions sont interrogées. À partir de la décision du Synode protestant de Lazaret de 2015, l’article se propose d’offrir une réflexion canonique rendant compte des choix opérés et des voies à explorer.

The United Protestant Church (France) and the Catholic Church are faced with the demand for pastoral support for same-sex unions. Between similar pastoral questions and different institutional responses, the matrimonial institution and the practice of blessings are questioned. Based on the decision of the Protestant Synod of Lazaret in 2015, the article proposes to offer a canonical reflection reporting on the choices made and the way to be explored.
