Cet article a pour but de faire connaître Saul Alinsky, qui reste peu connu en France. Il rappelle sa biographie, ses objectifs et les tactiques qui l’ont rendu célèbre outre-Atlantique et il aborde deux questions : La première concerne l’utilisation du conflit par Alinsky, utilisation qui a généré la critique majeure dans le monde anglo-saxon ; la seconde est celle de la place de la « communauté » dans ses propositions d’organisation, question qui est à la source de l’incompréhension dont il est victime en France
