RésuméTout en questionnant les lectures économicistes et celles qui interprètent la dernière dictature argentine comme l’expression du mal ou du pouvoir absolu, cet article analyse les ambitieux objectifs politiques du Processus de réorganisation nationale, ainsi nommé par les militaires. L’auteur montre comment les profondes divergences entre les différents groupes qui participent au régime dictatorial ont, dans une large mesure, empêché la réalisation de ces objectifs.

Questioning economic readings and those that interpret the former Argentine military dictatorship as an expression of evil or absolute power, the article analyzes the ambitious political objectives of the process of national reorganization, so-named by the military. The author shows how the profound differences among the different groups that participated in the dictatorial regime significantly blocked the possibility of achieving these objectives.
