RésuméL’article analyse les événements de l’année 1968 au Brésil, plus précisément à Rio de Janeiro, en plaçant le mouvement étudiant au centre de l’étude. À partir des Mémoires et témoignages des leaders étudiants et des principaux quotidiens ( O Globo, Correio da manhã, Jornal do Brasil), l’auteur cherche à comprendre les spécificités du mouvement étudiant brésilien, ses principaux mots d’ordre et l’impact de la conjoncture internationale sur les manifestations au Brésil.

This article analyzes 1968 in Brazil, especially in Rio de Janeiro, with the focus on the student movement. With the memoirs and testimonies of student leaders and the major daily newspapers (O Globo, Correio da manhã, Jornal do Brasil), it looks at the specificities of the Brazilian student movement, its main slogans and the impact of the international conjuncture on the demonstrations in Brazil.
