The author relates the history and subsequent development of the awakened dream : from the changes in clinical practices to the underlying concepts. This led the awakened dream therapists to integrate a different approach in their practice on the impulse of Robert Desoille, especially in psychoanalysis. The awakened imagery, when worked through, unveils the unconscious and becomes the awakened dream in psychoanalysis.
