From Biting to Entomology The author of this article retraces the analytical journey of a ten yearold boy in a re-education centre over three disconnected sessions. She describes how this delinquent boy, trapped into strategies in which biting was a form of release, gradually progresses towards sublimation in the form of an interest for entomology. The author examines how adaptations of the analytical framework provided for both the gradual stabilizing of the young boy and the setting up of conditions which prompted him to consider undertaking psychotherapy.
